Tommy
Wondra

Born in Bukit Tinggi, 1980

Tommy deconstructs the common and established shapes in an attempt to form new ones in the form of colorful, detailed patterns on his paintings.

Tommy Wondra lives and works in Yogyakarta. He believes that destruction can also act as a form of creation. In his recent works, he intends to represent how the destruction process of established shapes will lead to the creation of new shapes instead. On his paintings, he depicts how new patterns can emerge from the deconstruction process.
